Leslie Fulton, RN, PhD

Biography:

Leslie is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Washington State University, and Oklahoma State University. Leslie's first career was in academia, where she worked as a sociology professor before experiencing a calling to become a nurse.

Most of Leslie's nursing career has been spent in critical care, primarily in intensive care. She's worked in cardiovascular ICU, surgical ICU, and emergency nursing. Before coming to Sitka Community Hospital to serve as Interim CNO, Leslie was working in Idaho as a hospice nurse. Leslie oversees all nursing departments at SCH, including acute care, Emergency Department, Long Term Care, Surgery, Home Health, and Mountainside Family Healthcare.
